Experienced manager in both cellular network technical aspects as well as in managing projects/partners.
Will evaluate cellular networks 4G/5G technologies, Fixed Wireless Access technologies and other domains in the network of Private Networks. Will also evaluate vendors offering these technologies to be added to Ceragon ecosystem.
Direct and support the Solutions architects, Sales Engineers and Salespeople in the regions in customer engagements to clarify and uncover the requirements for their End-To-End (E2E) solutions involving different ecosystem technologies and position our offering, as well as identify requirements and needs for additional technologies and vendors to be added to the ecosystem. In addition to that will help in the design and planning of E2E solutions involving the vendors in the Ecosystem as well as the due diligence and dialog with the potential partners.
Sales/Solution/Network Engineer at 4G/5G and other Access technology at a vendor (for example: Ericson, Nokia, Huawei, Airspan, Parallel Wireless, Samsung, Mavenir), preferably with both technical experience and commercial understanding (i.e. responding to RFPs)
Service Provider / Private Networks technical manager with experience in evaluating technologies and negotiating commercial terms with vendors
Willingness to travel
Strong knowledge of 4G/5G cellular networks (Must) and PTP/PTMP Fixed Wireless networks technologies (preferred)
5+ years of experience as sales engineer / customer-facing role at a cellular vendor or a technical manager at Service Provider / Private Network
Experience in negotiating and evaluating commercial terms with vendors/partners
Business level English and technical presentation skills
Experience with telecom systems network architecture and network design
Nice to have or Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of 3GPP standards.
Computer BSc or equivalent engineering/technical degree.
Experience in network deployment, or support for service provider or private networks.
Experience in managing multivendor Ecosystems for a telecom vendor.
Experience planning and executing technical demonstrations and proof of concepts including field trials with service providers or private networks.
Working knowledge and experience with 4G/5G systems and/or FWA networks (Ericson, Nokia, Huawei, Samsung, Airspan, Parallel Wireless, Mavenir)
