Finance Manager

Job Description

To support managing our customer accounts in APAC region including – Collection, Aging, Account reconciliation, reporting. 


  • Review the Region Accounts Receivable, to investigate late payments, to be in contact with internal functions – sales operations, sales person, HQ as well as with Customers.
  • Responsibility for processing accounts receivable and invoicing transactions to ensure timely collection.
  • Review and understand all financial and commercial terms like Performance Bond/ Guarantee letter/ Letter of Credit/ Payment Milestone/ Performance Obligation/ Termination clause in contract and apply them while invoicing and collection management.   
  • Liaison with HQ and local Logistic team to acquire the Good Acceptance Certificate (GAC) upon delivery of equipment. 
  • Direct communications with customers to promote timely and adequate collection.
  • Liaison with Project team for Acceptance/ Milestone document, calculate $ Value for PAC/RFS/FAC and reconcile the same with customer.  
  • Coordinate with HQ/ Accountant regarding the payment allocation/ Application for incoming receipt from customer.
  • Generating the AR aging report, preparing quarterly AR statement of account.
  • Maintain close relationship with customer for following up for Invoices acceptance and Payment timelines. 
  • Prepare the collection forecast Monthly/Quarterly for company/customer.  
  • Coordinate with all customer relating to service invoice taxation issue.  
  • Adhere strictly to company’s internal account control by maintaining outlined financial security.

Job Requirements

  • BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar degree. 
  • 10 years’ experience in a financial field, with a minimum of 5 years’ background in collection.
  • Business acumen – ability to hold a discussion with more senior people, understand commercial and operational issues.
  • Solid international corporate experience, with B2B specific.
  • Solid finance background and experience.
  • Experience from an international company (preferably Tech/Telco companies).
  • Excellent English.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience with ERP system.
