Head of Pre-Sales, APAC and Africa

Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of 8 across APAC and Africa region. Drive the team to next level of high engagement with customers and partners.
  • Set priority of work and set focus in line with sales requirements.
  • Work closely with sales and pre-sales teams by providing professional technical and commercial response to the field, feedback to the product management with requirements from the region, and promote product and services sales while optimizing profitability.
  • Provide exemplary pre-sales expertise through technical and product presentations, demonstrations, pilot implementations and consultation. Maintain product demonstration environments to ensure consistent presentation standards and exceptional sandbox experience.
  • Introduce specific latest technologies which influencing meet customers’ requirements, design, architect, and qualify proposed solutions, create Bill of Materials.
  • Take accountability for optimized produce bill of quantity BOM and ensure bid management in place supporting.
  • As the hands-on technical expert regarding product deployment and integration with customers’ internal systems.
  • Influence customers to embrace Ceragon selling value sales approach, helping sales to differentiate from competition.
  • Set priority of work and set focus in line with sales requirements.
  • Build working knowledge of competing products and how to sell against them.
  • Make presentations to C-Level and build strong customer relations with CTOs and Heads of Planning.
  • Keep excellent communication with product department, R&D department and back office presale support.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably 8 years’ experience in telco markets and/or wireless communication.
  • Outstanding leader, professional and technical capabilities; comfortable supporting both enterprise (field) and inside sales teams on targeted accounts.
  • Ability to see and present the “big picture”, architect solutions to solve customer problems, and uncover business challenges and develop custom solutions to solve them.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overseas for supporting pre-sales activities in other APAC and African countries on business trips.
  • Strong customer facing, communication, presentation and relationship building skills.
