IP/MPLS Network Pre-Sales Engineer you will be required to work closely with Worldwide Sales/Pre-Sales teams and support various back-office tasks for our Global Sales teams while serving as an advocate for customer needs in front of the R&D teams.
These include shaping the future of our products from IP/MPLS perspective, you will be involved in the company’s on-going product roadmap and pre-sales activities related to IP/MPLS features, cost-efficient Bill of Material creation and review, RFP/RFI (Request for Proposals/Info) responses.
IP/MPLS Network Pre-Sales Engineer goals and objectives:
Utilize outstanding technical and communication skills to provide our clients with excellent network support to ensure smooth and reliable operation for the fulfilment of business objectives and processes;
Design, configure and validate routing protocols including BGP, MP-BGP, eBGP/iBGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP and IS-IS and other routing protocols as necessary;
Resolve and understand network performance related issues such as malfunctions of network hardware and software;
Bring cutting edge thinking relative to the deployment and implementation of configuration L3/MPLS devices;
Collaborate with a highly committed cross-functional team in providing technical leadership regarding network technology and deployments to various internal teams, including HQ Pre-sales, Regional Sales People and Sales Engineers worldwide, Post-sales, Services, Marketing and Product management;
Take ownership of deriving a best practice policy for network design;
