NPI Project manager

Job Description

The NPI Project Manager will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of multiple New Product Introduction projects through to production. The incumbent must have a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management and leadership skills. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams, both internal and external, in the development of new products and/or features
  • Direct the effort to define the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Create and maintain project schedule and milestone tracking
  • Apply multiple project management methods and skills to tailor the execution of projects with various scope and implementation plans
  • Experience leading teams and participating as team member in a matrix organization, managing non-direct reports.


Job Requirements

Skills &Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering /Practical Engineer
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work amongst a wide variety of functions and management levels
  • Effectively works with changing priorities and follows up on tasks and assignments
  • Strong Leadership attributes
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
