Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

·        Leading the preparation of account and business development sales plans.

·        Provide constructive and meaningful intelligence on the competition, customer requirements, market trends and product features to the appropriate organization.

·        Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales records.

·        Maintain technical proficiency, competitive knowledge and industry trends.

·        Conduct sales presentations and participate in industry trade shows.

·        Lead to new collaborations as well as maintain strategic contacts with existing customers regarding the use of company products and services.

·        Analyze existing requirements and anticipated customer demands as well as promote the consideration of the company’s products and services to fill such requirements.

·        Support “cross-functional” activities involved in the sales cycle such as pre-sales, services, customer support and finance.

·        Analyze existing requirements and anticipated customer demands as well as promote the consideration of the company’s products and services to fill such requirements.

·        Work closely with Product Line Management and informed of new products and other information of interest to customers.

·        Provide accurate and timely forecasts.

·        Responsibility for Customer Satisfaction of the named accounts through the entire Sales Cycle. From marketing, sales, delivery, installation & commissioning, invoicing and collection.

Use the tools available, such as Sales Force, to provide business information in support of sales activities.

Job Requirements

·        University Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or similar technical field an advantage.

·        At least 7-10 years of Experience in Sales/Technical Sales and Account Management/Business Development in the Telecommunications Industry. Wireless technology and/or Microwave transmission experience is desirable.

·        Understanding of how Mobile, ISP, and Telco Operators work, including what drives customer satisfaction.

·        Demonstrated ability to sell on value and manage complex sales processes.

·        Possess a high level of “Hands on” personality, analytical skills; problem-solving, prioritize multiple tasks in an efficient and effective manner and communicate with all levels of management

·        Proactive, customer service oriented with a can-do attitude in meeting short and critical deadlines.

·        Ability to work directly with customers or through partners/resellers.

·        Self-starter / self-motivated

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate both internally with the company and externally with customers

·        Advanced Excel modeling skills and competency in Word and PowerPoint

Willing and able to travel frequently within the US
