We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our customers with Siklu by Ceragon mmWave network solutions.
LOCATION: Bangalore, India.Remote call support to US Customers during Central Time-zone.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to phone calls with onsite installers to support completion of installation and remote configuration of Siklu by Ceragon equipment.
Instruct installation crews on proper alignment of Siklu by Ceragon PtP radios.
Follow support process / cases through CRM system
Uploading of all necessary files captured during support call for Ceragon’s records.
Document resolution to reported issues to optimize future support.
Understand proper design, installation and commissioning techniques of the Siklu by Ceragon radios. Review of performance data and log files to confirm proper installation and alignment is required.
Validate links through the Link Budget Calculator (LBC) if requested.
Document all work completed and hours supporting cases via SalesForce to ensure proper recording of support effort.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA or BS in a technical field with 5+ years of proven experience in Telecom RF installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience with Siklu by Ceragon mmW technology is a plus.
Proven experience with installation, configuration and advanced troubleshooting of Microwave/transmission networks (Operations experience)
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) in English is required. Spanish may be helpful.
Strong understanding of networking and packet switch protocols and technologies, including Layer 1 and Layer 2 for troubleshooting is required.
Experience with network equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar platforms, and a working knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall configurations is required.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience with mmWave communications, RF planning, or related wireless technologies.
Strong working knowledge of network design and implementation.
Familiarity with SNMP, network monitoring tools, and performance analysis using iPERF for network optimization is required.
