Sales Director - Channels

Job Description

  • Meets Order Booking and Gross Margin (GM) targets
  • Participate in creating strategic partnerships, alliances and bundles that ensures Ceragon is highly visible and properly positioned and referenced 
  • Take responsibility for the overall indirect channel sales revenue either via distribution or directly from System Integrators, VARs
  • Develop Ceragons’ Go-To-Market strategy for strategic alliances and channel sales in the Oceania region
  • Responsibility for growing channel revenues by recruiting and onboarding strategic partners
  • Establish and execute business and marketing plans with each partner
  • Ensure the proper performance of channel sales through training, incentives and motivation
  • Develop direct marketing programs to resellers to ensure appropriate stocking levels
  • Manage third-party relationships
  • Responsible for creating annual or biannual strategic and tactical marketing plan
  • Conduct and analyze market research to determine risk and marketability of potential products and features
  • Perform competitive analysis
  • Create and manage opportunity pipeline and sales forecasting using CRM system (SalesForce.Com)

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; Master’s in telecommunications, electrical engineering or/and business administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum five years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment in Telecommunications industry
  • Experience in setting up indirect and channels sales
  • Track record of success in a fast-paced and extremely dynamic environment with ability to be self-sufficient, proactive and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Experience in Pricing models, budgeting, statistics and analysis and P&L background
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the experience and ability to effectively influence at all levels both internally and externally
  • Hard-worker, accustomed to work with various global interfaces and time zones
  • Experience in managing channels, partners and distributors
  • Able to cope with stress and intensive work hours
