Sales Engineer & System Architect Director

Job Description

Areas of responsibility, permanent objectives and duties:

  • A remote position that can be located in various countries in EMEA and requires travel
  • Lead and manage the EMEA sales engineering and system architect team
  • Drive the team to next level of high engagement with customers and partners
  • Set priority of work and set focus in line with sales requirements
  • Guide team for e2e solutions
  • Work closely with sales and global sales engineering teams by providing technical and TCO optimized response
  • Provide exemplary pre-sales expertise through technical and product presentations, demonstrations, and consultation (sell on value pitches)
  • Influence customers to embrace Ceragon selling value sales approach, helping sales to differentiate from competition
  • Promote product and services sales while optimizing profitability
  • Introduce latest technologies influencing customers’ requirements, design, architect, and qualify proposed solutions
  • Build working knowledge of competing products and how to sell against them.
  • Make presentations to C-Level and build strong relations with CTOs and Heads of Planning
  • Feedback to the product management with requirements from the region
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel

Job Requirements

Qualification and Education:

  • Minimum degree of BA
  • Experience in leading distributed teams across Europe and Africa
  • Experience in designing, configurating and dimensioning Transmission Networks Telecommunications & Microwave radios
  • Experience in designing Solution in Private Networks (verticals)
  • Experience in Services offering, in particularly in Software defined Services and Managed Services
  • Sell on value skills – to define best technical TCO optimized solution for customers
  • One foreign language must, a 2nd foreign language it would be benefitable
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
  • Experience in wireless communication/networking market - an advantage
  • L3/routing knowledge, CCNA/CCNP – an advantage
