The Telecom Solution Architect will develop reference architectures to address customer needs in various vertical segments, including state and local government, utilities, transportation, and public safety. The role will include:

•   Work with sales, marketing, and other groups to identify applications needed within the target vertical.
•  Identify end-to-end applications needed by the target verticals: security and incident management, automation, video monitoring and surveillance, etc.
• Create high level network architectures to implement the applications
•       Interact with engineering and R&D as needed to evaluate low level designs
• Evaluate and recommend potential hardware and software partners to supplement Ceragon products and software to deliver the end-to-end solution
•      Work in collaboration with sales to position the solution to various customers.
•        Answer customer technical questions regarding the applications and modify architectures as needed to address customer concerns.

Job Requirements

Requirement

• ·        University degree in Electronics Engineer, Telecommunications Engineering, or other relevant careers
• ·        Post graduate degree or specialization in Telecommunications desired
• ·        A minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications focused on high-level network application design
• ·        Experience in critical infrastructure verticals (state/local government, utilities, transportation, public safety) highly desired

·        Knowledge and experience in

o  Data Switching.

o  Design of telecommunications networks and ISP.

o  Telecommunications transport equipment and the services / protocols used for each one (i.e., IP / MPLS Routers, DWDM, SDH, Ethernet, TDM, etc.)

o  Fiber Optic Transport Network including electronics to handle the aggregation and distribution of data

o  Microwave-based Access Network including electronics to manage the aggregation and distribution of data

o  Last Mile based on LTE technology, Wi-Fi, or Point to Multipoint

o  Energy Systems

o  Networking, IP Planning

o  High Level Design based on state-of-the-art Telecommunications Technologies

o  Data base management

o  Presentations
