Job Description

Technical Skills Required –IPV4-V6/Ethernet/MEF/MPLS /Networking

1. Networking (bridge, switch, and routers), Understanding E1/T1 frame structure, Understanding SDH / SONET, Layer 2 protocols (ETH basics, 802.1p/q, QoS, xSTP)

2. Strong hands-on IP/MPLS Network Planning, Designing and Operations experience with a good reference from previous employment

3. Service provider environment – Core, Edge, Border, Access and Aggregation routing and switching with voice and data peering.

4. Usage of TACACS+, AAA services.

5. Network Protocols and OSI models (TCP, UDP, VLAN, MPLS).

6. Standard best practices for network development and design.

7. Knowledge of SIP/RTP/TLS/SRTP/ENUM/DNS.

8. Wireshark, PCAP applications, SPLUNK.

9. Proven knowledge of IP Networking (TCP/IP and OSI stack)

10. L2 protocols (VLAN, Q-in-Q, STP, LLDP, etc)

11. L3 Routing protocols (RIP, OPFS, BGP, etc.)

Practice work Exposure –

1. Hands on experience on plaining and design of IP networks

2. Experience of troubleshooting of IP networks

3. Practical experience with traffic generators / analyzers / simulators (IPERF, IXIA, smart bits, Attach, VLC, N2X, whatever)

4. Practical experience with IP Networking: OSI model, ARP, Routing, STP, VLAN,

Job Responsibility –Overall Management of the Technical Issues /Testing and Trails approvals

1. Support Microwave IP transport systems critical data payloads used for RF signaling of Ceragon products

2. Support and troubleshooting a mix of networking technologies including MPLS, VRF and BGP working within in an ISP / Telecoms service provider environment

3. Design and implementation of peering IP networks using BGP and MPLS, interior routing protocols.

4. Architect networks for new services, identify areas of improvement, and develop/implement acceptance testing plans.

5. Configuration, provisioning and deploy designed network solutions from build to deployment within IP Routing, MPLS / BGP environment.

6. Experience configuring and deploying HP,Nokia, Cisco and Juniper routers, switches and firewalls in an MPLS network environment.

7. Determine network equipment needed to meet specified requirements.

8. Complete and maintain network topology documents, design and diagrams in google drive share folder, network inventory is current.

9. Work closely with NOC and Field Technicians on 1st/2nd/3rd line troubleshooting in support of the customer on network faults and developing product turn-up processes.

10. Ensure minimal downtime/outage with quick workarounds, troubleshooting, and correcting fault conditions.

11. Respond to support calls and escalations of customer issues on a 24/7 basis as required.

12. Script programs to automate configuration/provisioning of services.

13. Provide training and mentoring to other team members.
