The VP Global Sales Engineering is responsible for managing all aspects of business proposals to customers and prospects, focusing on creating demand through customer value, pricing and technical engineering, in support of Ceragon’s worldwide business. The primary role of the VP Global Sales Engineering is to enable our worldwide sales teams achieve and exceed their quarterly and annual sales targets, by developing compelling business proposals focused on customer value and company profit.

As VP Global Sales Engineering in Ceragon you will lead a critical role, with significant scope and global responsibilities. You will be able to express your creativity and strategic thinking on day to day basis, and you will communicate with senior management in a global multicultural environment.

Your strong managerial skills will be needed in order to manage direct and matrix sales engineers. Most of all you will have the opportunity to influence by work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.


  • Manage, lead and inspire more than 30 Sales Engineers and Proposal Engineers Worldwide.
  • End-to-end responsibility for opportunity management, deal qualification, RFP response and pricing strategy.
  • Perform deal analysis & scrutiny, by optimizing technical and commercial offering in order to enhance win-rate and maximize bottom line.
  •  Closely work with sales management by guiding and approving bid submission, price negotiation and e-auctions.
  •  Set solution offering guidelines for worldwide sales teams.
  •  Lead change management for value-based selling approach in all deals.
  •  Impact product development and prioritize it based on business requirements and customer feedback. 
  •  Develop a strong global team, including direct reports and indirect reports through matrix to achieve results.


Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales engineering / presales positions.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing sales engineering / presales global teams.
  • Experience in sales or senior managerial position in product management - advantage
  • BA in exact sciences or B.Sc in electrical/computer engineering.
  • MBA – an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and hypothesis-based problem-solving skills.
