Job Description

Perform essential tasks within a warehouse environment including processing outgoing and incoming shipments, organizing product storage, and stocking of equipment and materials. Responsible for packing and shipping items according to the needs of the business. Maintain and update computer tracking systems of shipments and materials. All activities to be performed  safely and with efficiencies of the warehouse operations.


Job Requirements

·        2-4 years’ experience in Logistics and/or Warehouse Operation

·        Strong verbal and written communication

·        Problem-solving skills

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment

·        Experience with Oracle Inventory Management System

·        Proficiency in MSOffice applications

·        Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and compellingly with colleagues and management

·        Demonstrated ability to use quantitative approach to problem solving

·        Analytical with strong, demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking capabilities

·        Knowledge in industry packing and shipping standards

·        A positive attitude, including a willingness to tackle problems through to solutions and an ability to work both independently and across functional teams

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols
  • Knowledge in both domestic and international shipping
  • Ability to lift objects

Certified as a forklift operator

·        The Warehouse Operations Associate will be responsible for shipping, receiving, packing, kitting, and loading of communications equipment and materials within a warehouse and ensure orders are processed and completed correctly

·        Ensure project materials and equipment ship on time, meet project and customer timelines

·        Prepare, coordinate, and create documents for shipment pick-up with carriers

·        Site kit, pack, palettize, band, and wrap shipments per project requirements

·        Loads and redistributes goods or cargo using forklifts and other loading equipment to/from trucks and within the warehouse

·        Validate incoming shipments against shipping records ensuring correct items are received, in quantiles identified and without physical damaged

·        Maintain a working environment that meets delivery requirements, quality control and reporting processes

·        Maintain and update daily shipping, receiving, inventory reports

·        Notify stakeholders of received shipments and status of planned outgoing shipment

·        Responsible for organizing how items are stored once they are received

·        Maintain inventory control and physical inventory cycle counts

·        Enforce company policies, and procedures related to warehouse operations

·        Maintain safety programs and enforce OSHA compliance to guarantee a safe workspace

·        Ensure work safely and responsibly to avoid damage to property, and loss of materials and equipment

·        Maintain quality control

·        Plan, develop, organize, and evaluate the operations of the warehouse to improve efficiencies

·        Special projects or other duties as required
