Ceragon First to Demonstrate Microwave Radio with Fully Integrated End-to-End Ethernet OA&M Capabilities

September 22, 2008

TEL AVIV, Israel, September 22, 2008 - Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE:
CRNT), a leading provider of high-capacity wireless backhaul solutions, today announced that its
leading edge FibeAir® IP-10 platform is the first microwave radio solution to demonstrate fully
integrated, end-to-end Ethernet link and service Operation, Administration and Maintenance
(OA&M) capabilities. FibeAir IP-10 features fully integrated Ethernet networking and service
demarcation functionalities that are optimized for mid to high capacity backhaul networks and
eliminate the need for external devices. By integrating OA&M functionality into its platform,
Ceragon helps its customers to cut costs by eliminating the need for external OA&M components
and dramatically simplify the management of radio Ethernet networks.

Ceragon displays its FibeAir IP-10 platform at the Carrier Ethernet World Congress
(CEWC), Booth #35, September 22–26, 2008, MARITIM proArte Hotel, Berlin, Germany.
Adding OA&M functionality simplifies the distribution of Ethernet services and facilitates the
shift to volume markets. With end-to-end OA&M operators can maintain their SLAs (service level
agreements) and ensure complete end-user satisfaction regardless of how many different
networks stand between two service end-points.

“Ceragon continues to devote its efforts to maintain our lead in the Ethernet Microwave link
market,” said Ira Palti, President and CEO of Ceragon Networks. “By continuously pushing the
functionality envelope we enable the evolution of backhaul networks to all-IP. End-to-end OA&M
will make service providers’ migration to next-generation packet radios simpler, allowing them to
control their revenue generating services across entire networks in a mixed media, mixed
transport technology environment.”

Ceragon FibeAir IP-10 was tested and proven interoperable with wide range of solutions
from some of the world’s leading telecommunication equipment manufacturers. As part of the
testing the platform proved fully compliant with industry Ethernet OA&M standards 802.1ag and
802.3ah.
