With capacity needs increasing substantially, a leading operator in APAC had to quickly adapt its network to meet this new demand. This operator also needed to ensure a fully operational network that could deliver consistent services to all users while upgrading the network.
As part of a project that ended in late 2020, Ceragon provided the operator with a wide range of products and services that supported its expansion of microwave links nationwide. One of the operator’s key challenges was migrating its large network management system (NMS) to a new platform. While such projects typically involve many onsite engineers, this was not possible due to lockdowns arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
