CM Material Availability Team Leader

The CM material team leader is part of the CM strategic team, that manages the production and deliveries with various CM’s worldwide.

As the Material Availability Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team dedicated to ensuring timely availability of materials required for production. You will coordinate closely with procurement, production planning, and logistics teams to streamline the material flow process, minimize shortages, and optimize inventory levels.

The role requires leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, identify and solve critical shortages for production, while managing risks to minimize impact on production.
  • Implement strategies to reduce shortages by analyzing demand patterns and lead times.
  • Coordinate with logistics and purchasing to expedite delivery of materials when needed, to meet production deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance material availability, reduce lead times, and improve efficiency
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and motivate a team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
  • Collaborate with CM and Ceragon planning to forecast material requirements based on production schedules, customer demands, and inventory levels.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments, such as production, quality assurance, and engineering, to address issues related to material availability and support overall business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineer, logistics, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain management, preferably in Contract manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external teams.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with Oracle MRP- advantage
  • Vast knowledge and experience in excel – MUST!
