Ceragon is a leading provider of high-capacity wireless backhaul solutions for cellular networks. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, specifically focusing on the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process. This is a critical role in our organization as you will be involved in identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues to improve customer satisfaction and enhance our product offerings.
Responsibilities:
Implements and maintains the quality assurance protocols and methods for repaired products and repair processes as instructed in Ceragon SOWs
Perform root cause analysis on RMA products to identify quality issues
Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified quality issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in the RMA process
Create and maintain quality control documentation and procedures
Conduct product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers regarding RMA-related inquiries
Participate in product testing and validation activities
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality engineering
Implementing and managing the compliance of RMA processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution as instructed in Ceragon SOWs
Implementing the methods and procedures for inspecting as instructed in Ceragon SOWs, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of repair processes, repair equipment and products
Performs analysis of repair reports and to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures
Assure implementation of Engineering Change Orders and Exceptional Engineering Notification
Manage weekly quality meeting with all manufacturer parties following stricken format as instructed in Ceragon SOWs
Provide alerts on poor quality events, RMA performance degradation and ant quality violation
Manage the non-conformity and customer complaints through 8D format
Impose hold repair and shipment following Ceragon HQ instructions
Take QA decisions related to MRB: scrap, Use as is and return to vendor committee
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanics, Electrical or Industrial engineer
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role
Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Proficiency in using quality management systems and statistical analysis
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Formal certification as CIS in IPC-A610E - an advantage. If not certified – the training and qualification must be made within a year after recruitment
