Channel Sales Manager

Will be part of the leading technical group in the Global Support department with worldwide peers reporting to Customer support Expert leader. 

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Drive indirect Sales into WISPs, Resellers and System Integrators through our existing and/or new Channels and Distributors.
  • Demand generation for the Siklu by Ceragon portfolio in Africa and Middle East

Areas of responsibility, permanent objectives and duties

  • Drive demand generation in responsibility area through vendor days, trade shows, etc in cooperation with the distribution partners
  • Lead follow up in cooperation with Inside Sales Team
  • Manage POS reporting obligations with the distribution partners.
  • Manage/ align inventory levels of partners
  • Meet / exceed booking, margin quotas and revenue targets.
  • Position latest technologies, move Channels and Distributors to latest product family and stop selling (near) end of life products.
  • Increase efficiency to align Channels and Distributors on same terms and conditions and to move Channels and Distributors to high-level of automation including enabling them to be self-sufficient.
  • Develop and maintain Sales Pipeline in Salesforce
  • Develop new value propositions, use cases and campaigns.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend product and service enhancements that improve the overall value to our channels.
  • Do business development and brand awareness on the end users (WISPs and System Integrators) with / without our partners.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations that effect target markets.
  • Sell services, particularly ensure all channels got SLA.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Education:

  • Preferable Masters in telecommunications, electrical engineering or/and business administration, (MBA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in comparable business.
  • Knowledge of distribution and channel business
  • Outstanding selling and negotiating abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
  • Sales skills aligned to: understand customer needs, relationship building, negotiate on value, result oriented, adding value to customers, and account planning
  • Experience in managing channels, partners, and distributors.
  • Strong business acumen, creativity, and problem-solving skills combined with a bias for action.
