Major Job Responsibilities:

The goal of this position is to bring new business, increase business opportunities and generate revenue from accounts in Oil & Gas and Mining sector in the Western African Region with focus on End-to-End solution especially with blue chip oil and gas companies in pursuing region objectives aligned to company values, while exceeding customer’s expectations and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Areas of responsibility, permanent objectives and duties:

  • Drive business growth, manage strategic customer relationships.
  • Successfully execute sales strategies in a competitive market.
  • Meet and exceed AOP booking targets with existing and new accounts.
  • Identify innovative wireless End to End solution opportunities, qualify them and close them.
  • Determine strategies and objectives of assigned accounts and potential clients, understanding their requirements and offering customized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Varied experience across exploration, drilling, production, refining and distribution.
  • Prospect the right decision makers within a business to identify new business opportunities and bring an innovative approach to prospecting and acquisition.
  • Regulatory knowledge governing the industry (environmental, safety and compliance).
  • Establish relationship with C-suite and/or with decision makers.
  • Ensure CRM is utilized appropriately and updated regularly basis, with forecast accuracy.


 

Job Requirements

Qualification and Education:

  • Proof of solid records on hunting and closing deals.
  • Established network in oil & gas, mining energy.
  • Comprehensive expertise in oil & gas mining and energy
  • Degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering or/and business administration, (MBA expertise) or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Outstanding selling and negotiating abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
  • Sales skills aligned to understand customer needs, relationship building, negotiate on value, result oriented, adding value to customers, and account planning.
  • Familiarity with industry specific software and architecture.
  • Strong relationships with ecosystem players (regulatory bodies, government agencies, partners)
