Position Overview:
As a Private Networks Solutions Architect at Ceragon, you will be the driving force behind the creation and implementation of comprehensive connectivity and networking solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and scalability of our customers' networks. Your expertise in access technologies, private LTE (PLTE), and 5G communications will be essential in delivering high-quality connectivity solutions. You will be tasked with bringing profitable business opportunities to Ceragon by translating customer needs and technological opportunities into detailed technical proposals and solutions. Additionally, you will leverage your deep understanding of 3GPP standards, 4G/5G Core&RAN networks and IP networking to design robust, future-proof solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Architecture and Solutions Design:
· Design and architect private network solutions utilizing 4G and 5G, fixed wireless access (FWA) technologies.
· Leverage knowledge of 3GPP standards to ensure solutions align with industry best practices, covering both LTE and 5G network architectures.
· Design networks that facilitate a seamless transition between technologies, ensuring future-proof deployments for our customers.
· Present project guidelines and milestones to internal and external team members, including customers.
· Select and configure private network equipment and software from leading vendors, ensuring compatibility with 4G/5G networks.
· Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed networks, ensuring alignment with both 4G and 5G RAN & Core standards.
· Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to customers for feedback, refining designs to meet specific requirements.
· High-Level Design (HLD) of the solution and topology, including scope of work.
· Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Product Management, Pre-Sales, Planning & Design) and third-party companies to create Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
· Develop detailed network diagrams and documentation for implementation, serving as templates for customer engagement by sales.
· Work closely with the Program Manager, leading all technical aspects of customer engagements during the execution phase of contracts.
· Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing to ensure continuous improvement.
· Identify new opportunities during the execution phase of contracts.
Access Technologies:
· Utilize expertise in access technologies, including Private LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, and mmWave, to design access networks tailored to client needs.
· Exhibit deep knowledge of 4G & 5G technologies, including core network functions (EPC, 5G Core), RAN deployment models, MOCN standards, CPE, SIM/eSIM, eNodeB/gNodeB, and CU/DU/RU connectivity models.
IP Networking:
· Apply a solid understanding of IP networking, including routing, switching, and security, to ensure seamless integration of private network solutions with existing customer infrastructures.
· Experience with IP/MPLS, VPNs, and QoS configurations to support complex network architectures is a strong advantage.
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Telecommunications, Networking) or equivalent work experience.
· Proven experience as a Private Networks Solutions Architect or in a similar role with a strong emphasis on end-to-end network solutions.
· Experience working for a system integrator to build solutions utilizing a mix of internal and partner components.
· Proficiency in 4G and 5G technologies, including LTE, 5G NR, and core network functions (EPC & 5G Core).
· Experience in PLTE, 5G deployment design, and implementation is essential.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Fluent in Spanish and English.
· Willingness to travel abroad to customer meetings and presentations.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
